I'm totally in love...

...with 4th grade! I may never go back to the library. But then this blog would have to be texas*fourthgrade*chick, and that might be a problem...

Newsflash!

Due to a shortage of 4th grade summer school teachers, or better said, an overflow of 4th grade summer school students, I will now be teaching 4th grade every day instead of library once a week. That means fat wallet.

I also purchased my ticket to Austria today, which means less fat wallet, but more fat summer excitement.

Just gets better and better, doesn't it?

I love the way I think someone is reading this...

What summer school means to me

I found out today that summer school librarian consists of me working on Wednesdays. Only. While that may sound like a cakewalk, and it is, it means that my wallet will be lighter than if I were working EVERY day. Considerably lighter. I may have to figure out plan B for funding my ticket to Austria.

On the cakewalk side of things, however, this means a lot more free time for me to do...well...whatever I want to do. I wonder what I'll do?

Potential

Summer has begun yet again (as summers do), and my blog seems lonely. It's been a full year since I've posted anything and, most likely, since anyone has looked this way.

This summer's adventures will consist of working. Beginning Thursday I will be a part of the summer school team on my campus. I will be running the library. As I have zero information regarding what to expect from library summer school, this will indeed be an adventure of sorts. I may chronicle those adventures here. Or maybe I'll get a real life.

But this summer won't be only about work. At the end of the summer term I will blow every penny I earned to fly to Austria to visit my relatives. Now that should be REAL adventure.

So, if you're bored enough to be browsing this blog, check back. It may be more of an adventure that either of us realizes.
